Our team travelled to Banff, Canada to capture the most incredible shots for Love Your Melon. We teamed up with influencer Gabby C Thomas to create a look that was warm, bubbly, and perfect for the brand. Our entire campaign was focused on raising brand awareness and delivering unique shots.
Although LYM started in Minneapolis, they have since grown to be a nationally recognized brand. Our team had to construct a campaign that contained high brand recognition elements to ensure our message was clear. Everything from the recognizable color palettes to the logos had to be seen immediately in the photos.
Because of this, we focused our campaign on a single point of view in order to boost engagement and reach consumers. This focused perspective allowed our team to really dive in LYM's mission and the feelings that come from using their products.
When crafting a social media campaign and shooting images that are great for different platforms, our team has to consider the locations and the atmosphere of the photos.
Not only was Banff, Canada a beautiful destination, it fit perfectly with the product and the lifestyle Love Your Melon was trying to represent. Our team developed a plan to impact every consumer touchpoint. Love Your Melon needed content that could be used for PR releases, new product developments, and new promotions. Each style was built to be slightly different than the last to offer unique content for each post. Our photography and videography was simple, and we let the landscape and the products talk for themselves.
We also had to consider the community that Love Your Melon creates. Even when our models were shot by themselves, they were constantly radiating light and happiness to create a pleasing atmosphere. Our team wanted each photo to be very uplifting and warm, which was perfect for their social media platforms.
One area our team had to consider when shaping the social media campaign for Love Your Melon was context. How could our photos go above and beyond the rest when all we had to focus on was a hat or a blanket?
Our team of qualified photographers and videographers brainstormed innovative and unique poses, outfits, and locations to add context and background to the photos. Every aspect of the photos were designed for social media platforms.
Additionally, we kept revisiting the perspective of the consumer. As mentioned previously, these products are about community and adventure. By traveling outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, we were able to capture a variety of shots that portrayed the fun, quality products we were shooting.
Love Your Melon, a company that has given over 7.1 million dollars to the fight against pediatric cancer, was getting ready to launch a huge promotional deal. Before the sale occurred, they wanted to amp up their brand presence and engagement through different forms of digital marketing. We sought out the perfect solution to portray the brand's authenticity and ethical message.
With emotion, adventure, and belonging at the core of their brand, we captured and created content that illustrated the real face behind Love Your Melon. Our goal was to aim the content at those who not only believe in what LYM stands for, but to those who actively wear the products to explore unknown places and value exploration.
