As a small, private college nestled within the suburbs of Minneapolis, Crown College needed assistance portraying why students should choose their institution over anywhere else. VIVID helped brainstorm, edit, and shoot creative video content to raise brand awareness and bring more students to Crown. The content needed to be innovative, exciting, and modern to attract future students and connect with those currently attending the college. We helped with shooting/editing a multiutude of videos.
One of the most impactful videos a business can create happens in an interview style. This gives the brand the opportunity to speak openly and passionately about what they believe in.
For Crown College, our team of videographers helped them create multiple interview-style campaigns to discuss different majors and programs the college offers.
By also incorporating b-roll into these videos, we were able to keep the viewer's attention and show them different aspects of the campus and the programs while also providing them with valuable information.
Keep in mind that these videos were mostly for Crown's website and advertisements, not so much social media.
The videos not only give students an idea of what the campus and student life looks like at Crown College, but it also unites them to the community that comes with attending the school. Our intention was to refresh Crown's brand identity to encapsulate more than just a school, but rather a place where like-minded individuals can come together and thrive.
Where as the interviews were intended more for a serious audience looking to dive into different majors and programs, our Room and Board series was designed for the students at Crown looking to hear more about the community aspects.
These videos were meant for YouTube and social media, including Instagram and Facebook, to grab attention and make people laugh.
You'll notice that these videos included actual students at Crown. We wanted to provide the most authentic experience we could for potential students.
If they were to come to campus and actually recognize the people in the videos, it would provide a great sense of unity and it also added validity to our videos.
Since we were working with Crown College to create these videos, we needed to follow the style they were already portraying across social media. Our videographers are trained to film based on the tonality and message necessary. We were able to create a light and airy atmosphere to the films in order to boost engagement, brand awareness, and overall drive a happy message to consumers.
Throughout our summer with Crown College, we shot a mutltide of different people in a variety of locations. We emphasized quality audio, lighting, transitions, and delivery. Our team also worked to create each video so that they would flow together seamlessly and carry the same feelings throughout the campaign.
